LEAPS
For the LEAPS – the League of European Accelerator-based Photon Sources , I was tasked, on behalf of my previous employer, with leading the role of Project Manager. In this capacity, I managed direct communication with the client, handling meetings in English to gather and understand their specific needs and expectations for the redesign of their existing website. As the primary point of contact, I ensured that the client remained fully engaged throughout the process, and they expressed great satisfaction with my level of communication, attention to detail, and project management skills.
The core objective of this project was to redesign their current website in line with their updated brand and organizational goals. I worked extensively on designing the new interface in Figma, ensuring that each element reflected their vision. This involved closely collaborating with the client to refine their ideas into a clear, actionable design. The focus was on improving the site’s usability, accessibility, and overall aesthetic, tailoring the redesign to the unique needs of the LEAPS Initiative.
Upon finalizing the design, the client provided full approval and expressed enthusiasm about the direction of the project. At the time I left the company, the project was poised to move into the development phase. The client was particularly pleased with the high level of communication and collaboration throughout the design process, which contributed to the overall success of the design approval.
